Recent sightings of design renders further fuel anticipation, alongside reports suggesting a potential launch timeline, slated to coincide with the existing Vivo Y200 5G model. According to a report from 91Mobiles, citing industry insiders, the Vivo Y200e 5G is anticipated to debut in India by February, with official teasers expected in the coming days. The report indicates that the phone may boast a faux leather back panel with an anti-stain coating and a 120Hz AMOLED display.
Furthermore, the Vivo Y200e 5G is speculated to house a 5,000mAh battery with 44W wired fast charging support. It could feature dual stereo speakers and an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance.
Previously spotted on the Google Play Console, the Vivo Y200e 5G showcased a triple rear camera setup and a flat display with a centred hole-punch slot for the front camera. The design resembles that of the Vivo Y200 5G, albeit without the Aura Light feature, and was observed in a navy blue colour variant.
Listings on platforms like Geekbench, BIS, and Bluetooth SIG reveal further details. The phone is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, coupled with Adreno 613 GPU and 8GB of RAM. It may run on Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14 and sport a full-HD+ display with a resolution of 1,080x2,400 pixels.
Meanwhile, the Vivo Y200 5G is currently priced in India at Rs. 21,999 and Rs. 23,999 for the 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB variants, respectively. Available in Desert Gold and Jungle Green colours, it features a Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC, a 6.67-inch 120Hz full-HD+ AMOLED display, a 64-megapixel dual rear camera setup, and a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
